Kasta Morrely Association
Kasta Morrely is the name of the research project carried out between 2001-2006 that has made a concrete contribution to the development of the creative industries field.
This contribution, which has brought international recognition to the Kasta Morrely project, was achieved through:
- The creation of the legalized Occupational Standards for Event Organizer and Mannequin,
- The creation and registration of the new artistic genre Fashion Theatre® and
- The writing of specialized books on certain professions that highlight the importance of elites from all social environments.
These achievements, complemented by the specialized doctorates of Kasta Morrely researchers, have structured and introduced into the field of culture a series of public manifestations with professional educational impact.
Kasta Morrely Association was founded in 2007 at the initiative of a group of researchers from the Kasta Morrely community interest project. Since then, Kasta Morrely has been a non-governmental, non-profit, independent, cultural and human rights and fundamental freedoms association with civic activity based on volunteering, with P.J. no. 1/2007, which promotes the importance of qualifications for obtaining demonstrable performances that contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
Kasta Morrely Association has numerous international projects appreciated as being examples of good practice by the Romanian National Agency and European Commission since 2008 such as: “Multicultural Traditional Inheritances within European Identity” (Youth in Action, 2008), “For Successful Youth” (Youth in Action, 2010), “Volunteers Dancing for the Social Inclusion of Youth” (Youth in Action, 2012), Adult Literacy Within European Identity (Grundtvig, 2014) etc.
The multi-disciplinary Kasta Morrely Association is recognized at the highest level of the European Union as a unique cultural brand through its scientific contribution to the development of the cultural and creative industries sector.
Examples of European projects coordinated by Kasta Morrely Association:
- Erasmus + Sport project Sport CALL for a healthy lifestyle (2025-2026). The project contributes to developing the quality of support systems for grassroots sport activities and the capacity of civil society organisations in the sport and outdoor education field in the benefit of environment education. www.youcandance.org.
- European project “Fashion Sustainability in the spotlight, new trends of Intercultural Learning” (2020 – 2022) (www.fashionfortomorrow.com)with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. The project partnership was composed of Kasta Morrely NGO, Intercultural for All NGO and University of Sfax. The project aimed to support capacity building and audience development in fashion by enhancing sustainable fashion awareness, creative and intercultural competences in the fashion domain through non-formal education and fashion performing arts, valuing the social modernization and culture preservation encouraging awareness of the benefits of the collaboration of specialists and artists from various cultural fields with focus on the performing arts, sustainable fashion design, intercultural learning, formal and non-formal education.
- European Contact making seminar Youth work vs Euroscepticism (2021) funded by European Union through Erasmus+ Programme. At the European training participated youth leaders and youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, North Macedonia, Greece, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey and Romania.
- Partnership building activity Upgrade Youth Work (2016), funded by European Union through Erasmus+ Programme. At the European training participated youth leaders and youth workers from Portugal, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Italy, turkey, Greece, France, Poland

- “Award for the best event promoting fashion and fashion show art” of the KASTA MORRELY FASHION WEEK International Festival, awarded by Fashiontv to the Kasta Morrely Cultural Association for the international premiere contribution to the existence of the standards of Show Organizer and Mannequin specialist in the Romanian Occupations Code (2023)
