WDP enters the Iași market through the acquisition of Proinvest Park Miroslava

The real estate developer Warehouses De Pauw (WDP), controlled by one of the wealthiest families in Belgium, is expanding its presence in Romania by entering the market in Iași County, with the acquisition of the Proinvest Park Miroslava industrial park.

The project is developed and controlled by the Proinvest group, led by businessman Vasile Sandu, and the transaction is in the process of being finalized, with an estimated completion date of April 23, 2026. According to information published in the local press, the value of this acquisition could exceed 20 million euros.

The move confirms the increased interest of international investors in the Moldova region and comes after WDP had previously announced advanced negotiations for the acquisition of this industrial park. Proinvest Park Miroslava benefits from a strategic location, being situated near the Iași metropolitan area, with direct access to the European road E583 and close to the future A8 highway, a major infrastructure project for the region.

Through this acquisition, WDP strengthens its logistics portfolio in Romania and expands its presence in an area with high economic development potential, while also contributing to the dynamization of the industrial market in the northeast of the country.
