Dunwell secures 5.000 sqm of warehouse for TeraPlast, construction materials manufacturer

TeraPlast Group is the largest Romanian construction materials manufacturer
With a history that goes back 12 decades in Bistrita, TeraPlast carries out its activity in 5 different locations – 4 in the country and 1 aboard, in Serbia. The 11 production facilities amount to more than 75.000 sqm in surface and the Group invests constantly in developing the production capacities, but also in the safe and efficient warehousing premises for its distribution activities
The construction materials manufacturer has reported a turnover of 208.9 mil. lei for Q1 of this year, thus registering an increase of 20% compared to the similar period last year and a net profit of 6.1 mil. Lei, which increased by 85% compared to Q1 of 2019.

Bucharest, May 4^th, 2020 – Dunwell, the biggest Industrial Real-Estate agency in Romania, has brokered the transaction in which the Romanian company TeraPlast, the largest of TeraPlast Group, is leasing 5.000 sqm (1.500 sqm of warehouse and 3.500 sqm of exterior platform) in Mega Distribution Center’s park in Chiajna. The relocation from the Northern area into this new space aims at increasing the efficiency of the company’s distribution activities.

We decided to expand our warehousing space in Bucharest for an optimal distribution to the Southern and South-Eastern area of Romania, as well as to export markets. The rented surface is part of Mega Distribution Center’s portfolio, developer with more than 90.000 sqm on Bucharest’s ringroad and also on A1. 10.000 sqm of this portfolio are controlled temeperature spaces (-24 degrees) and 10.000 sqm are for fresh products (2-4 degress).

According to Dunwell, FMCG, online retail, pharma and last but not least, construction companies are in the top of most active entitites.
