VPK Packaging SRL

The International VPK Packaging Group started on October 2007 an investment project in Salonta, a town in Bihor County. The project laid the foundation for VPK Packaging LTD – Romania. It took about one year for the project to be finalized and the investments amounted to 15 million Euros.

The outcome is a modern production unit specialized in manufacturing corrugated cardboard sheets and cardboard boxes. The factory with 15,600 square meters of construction has a total annual production capacity of more than 30,000 tones. The production activity started in January 2009 with 50 employees. The final employee number for the future is estimated at 200.

Our customers are national and multinational companies from Romania, Hungary and neighbouring countries. VPK Packaging Romania is recommended by clear criteria: professionalism, high quality, personalized solutions and Just in Time (JIT) deliveries.

Corex Romania LTD, member of VPK Packaging Group, manufacturer of cardboard tubes, is also located in Salonta. Its cardboard tubes are designated to several industrial applications like:

Beginning with our first delivery, in January 2009, VPK managed to increase 10 times its turn over, reaching a yearly 85.000.000 sqm production and going up 100.000.000 sqm.

As from October 1, VPK is embracing a new chapter in its history. We are proud to launch our new logo and brand identity across the entire corrugated packaging division. This means that we will continue to provide you with our well-known, sustainable packaging solutions from one, unified corrugated packaging brand.

Whereas VPK Group previously included the brands VPK Packaging, Rigid, Ondulys and Peterson, we are now offering increased transparency. As of October 1, VPK Packaging will replace the brand names Ondulys, Rigid and Peterson in France, England, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
