“The story started In 2006 when the Company Transvalmob SA was established, based in the northern county of Maramures, in the historic town Sighetu Marmatiei. With only a small workshop of few talented workers producing sofas and armchairs in leather, the company addressed to a well defined market abroad, that truly appreciated the carefulness of execution. This led to a succesfull partnership with the giant french Group Cauval and the explosive growth of the Company to an industrial scale production of upholstery.
The story continue, In the attempt to leave an heritage to the new generation of designers, engineers and workers, Joseph Geebelen created the new Company Valmedy Prod, company that serves the needs of most important customers from Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Poland.”
