Femetalro srl – A C-MEC Group company

Femetalro srl is a Romanian metal confection company, founded in 2006 by a Belgian group as subcontractor for the mother company. In 2017 Femetalro srl became part of the C-MEC Group Belgium. C-MEC groups several subcontractor companies in Belgium, Czech Republic and Romania, each with their own specialties in metal confection and welding.

Femetalro srl is established in Ploiesti, Romania, an industrial city on 60km of Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

Our main activity is the production of welded and/or assembled parts, mainly for lifting equipment’s, but also for industrial vehicles, machines and tools. Some examples are the main frames of scissor lifts and aerial work platform, the lifting system of waste trucks, counterweights, stabilizing systems and skid frames, casing burner, …

The production process is organized in 4 steps : cutting (plasma, oxy-cutting, band saw) and deburring, machining (milling centers, bending machine), assembly, welding (manual and robot). Each step with his quality control inspectors.

Our main customers are situated in Western-Europe, for ex Haulotte France (also for the Romanian plant), JLG France, Manitou France, MOL Belgium, Atlas Copco, ATN France, Babcock-Wanson France, …
