Aver Trustees Malta Ltd. is a regulated Maltese trustee and corporate services provider, forming part of the Aver Associates group with offices and entities in Malta, New York, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Zürich. The group has been active in cross‑border wealth and trust planning since 1997, originally as Belgotrust S.A. in Luxembourg and Switzerland, and has operated under the Aver name since 2005, with the Malta head office established in 2015. Its core business is the design and administration of straightforward, court‑defensible discretionary trusts and foundations in mainstream jurisdictions, together with related companies and holding structures.
The firm focuses on international private clients, with a diversified base of settlors and beneficiaries from more than 20 nationalities, notably Europe (including a significant number resident in Spain), India, Lebanon, Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States. Over 87.5% of assets under administration are held through discretionary trusts and foundations.
In Malta, the team is led by its Belgian founder Koen Lozie, an international tax and estate planning lawyer with over 30 years’ experience.
