About us
AKU Logistic SRL is part of the Hungarian company Volanpack ZRT, representing the interests and providing services on the territory of Romania and was founded with the desire to respond quickly to the requests on the Romanian market for packaging materials and complex services like JIT delivery and packaging services at the client’s premises
The Hungarian predecessor was founded in 1968 as part of the state-owned company Volán and was intended to be the packaging division of goods to be delivered. The company was changed into a joint stock company in 1993 and then privatized in 1995. It is currently a closed joint stock company, 100% private. The company has reached the current market conditions, with 120 employees and with two work points in Hungary, and in Romania it operates through AKU Logistic in Iasi County, with a warehouse of over 700 m2 in MIROSLAVA INDUSTRIAL PARK, thus structured adapted to any task in the field of packaging.
We can produce packaging systems based on parameters specified by the customer, if required we can develop a new packaging system with our specialists and as well we can plan the necessary packaging material and the method of packing . During development our company’s concern is to produce packaging from environmentally friendly materials and to be in accordance with demands for quality of the customer.
Our products are mostly raw materials wood and recycled paper. Coordination of economic interests and the protection of the environment can be made only by:
– Efficient treatment of natural resources
– Proper handling of waste and modernization of technological equipment
Currently, being one of the most dominant companies in the field of packaging in Hungary and growing in Romania, we want to bring this devotion abroad. Our activity is carried out in accordance with the latest and strictest requirements. The packing part is done with standard tools and also with technologies developed by us. AKU Logistic is a regular exhibitor at packaging fairs with internally developed packaging systems.
Using our resources effectively we can aim from the design stage to produce paper and wood containers to resist up to several overseas by air, road and rail transportation (TRY-SYS boxes, extra strong corrugated sheet, OSB boxes, combined packaging’s). This fact is not only for protecting our environment, it is also cost saving for our customers.
Our company has also implemented and maintained a Quality Management System which fulfils the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and Phytosanitary certificates ISPM 15. We are also certified as NATO supplier.
