TPA Romania concludes 2021 with double digit growth and expands
Partner team

The well-known tax, accounting, audit and advisory firm TPA Romania reported a strong growth
in its business of 10% in 2021. With a total turnover in excess of 6.5 million euros and over 160
employees working from its offices in Bucharest and Cluj, TPA Romania consolidated its position
as one of the top 7 professional services firms in Romania in 2021.
“We achieved this success by responding judiciously to the difficult labour market conditions in
Romania and adapting to a hybrid work model (alternating between working from home and
working in the office). Together with our clients, we identified specific advantages among the
accelerated changes forced on our industry as a result of the pandemic. Digitalisation and an
increased shift to high-level advisory will also remain high on our agenda for 2022,” explains Jan
Glas, Managing Partner at TPA Romania.
TPA Romania also announced it would be strengthening its ranks by promoting Claudia Bratu to
the position of Partner in the Audit and Advisory department at the firm’s Bucharest office,
effective as of 1 January 2022. Claudia Bratu joined the firm in 2006 and proceeded to build up
an impressive portfolio of audit related assignments in a long list of industries including
construction, agriculture, logistics, business process outsourcing, distribution, manufacturing and
pharma. She is ACCA qualified and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors.
“I congratulate Claudia Bratu on achieving this important milestone in her career. Since joining
our team, Claudia demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for assurance services and became an
outstanding contributor, while also showing dedication to her colleagues and clients and
maintaining a focus on the qualities that make TPA Romania stand out,” says Cristina Petrescu,
Audit and Advisory Partner at TPA Romania.
“Together with Claudia Bratu, TPA Romania now has 11 Partners between its offices in Bucharest
and Cluj. I am very proud that we were able to promote a new Partner from within our existing
talent pool. It demonstrates our continued commitment to offering development opportunities to
our colleagues whenever the occasion arises,’ added Jan Glas.
