Puratos is an international group offering a full range of innovative products, raw materials and application expertise to the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors. Its headquarters are located outside of Brussels (Belgium), where the company was founded in 1919. Almost a century later, Puratos products and services are available in over 100 countries around the world, with over 9.000 employees, 63 production units and 88 innovations centers.
In Romania, Puratos offers specialized services to industrial, artisanal and retail sectors in the 4 main regions of the countries: Muntenia, Moldova, Banat and Ardeal, with over 10 subsidiaries and 2 innovations centers, in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca. The company was founded in 1995, in Bucharest, currently having a production unit in Ilfov County, with three distinct production lines (margarine line, mixes line for pastry and bakery, respectively a line for fruit fillings, water-based creams and glazes) and 150 employees.
