The Open Network for community development
The Open Network (TON) for Community Development is a Romanian-Flemish foundation working on local community development. The network brings together multiple social organizations and committed people. TON is open to all interested parties and offers support and training on different themes. Connecting volunteers within Romania gives them the opportunity to meet and exchange. TON is also working on social corporate governance in collaboration with Belgian and Romanian companies.
The most important (volunteer) organisations who are part of TON are: AGLT (local youth organisation), OLF (local women organisation), OLB (local men organisation), CLS (local health committee), CLD (local development committee) and ADAM (Mutual help Association).
